I am an equine first aid instructor, and can get horse owners certified. These courses are great for new horse owners, or those with little experience, as well as anyone who wants to brush up on their knowledge in case of an emergency. The courses count towards countinuing education credits: (EC canada coaches, green certificate credits, and more). Basic First Aid

The basic course covers fundamentals for situations you may experience when working with horses. This gives you a solid baseline for what you can do while waiting for the vet, and knowledge will help you have a better handle on an emergency. Runs for 7-8 hours (depending on group size) Cost is $159/person

First Aid for Kids

This course is designed for ages 5-9. It gives them a very basic idea of first aid, and how to help in a situation. Runs for 3-4 hours (depending on group size) Cost is $59/child

Advanced First Aid

This course builds on what you have learned in the basic course, and covers situations you may encounter while riding away from home, where you may have less access to a veterinarian, or less first aid materials to work with. Runs for 7-8 hours (depending on group size) Cost is $159/person This course can be run as a weekend package with the basic course.
