Training and Riding Over the years
I began my riding journey on 'difficult horses' and fell in love with figuring them out. I started out doing hunter/jumper, but have worked with all manner of trainers and coaches to get a multifaceted view on riding, and put skills together to work best for each horse as an individual. I base all of the foundational skills on priciples of classical dressage, learned straight from the masters, most notably Mestre Dominique Barbier. I have found that a slow methodical approach leads to longevity and soundness even for the older horse, or a horse that struggles with soundness.
